1. Formal Translation For there will not be gloom for her who was in distress; in the former time He {Yahweh, Divine Sovereign} made the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali of little account, but in the latter time He made glorious the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations. |
1. Dynamic Translation But there will be no more darkness for those in distress; in earlier times He {Yahweh, Compassionate Deliverer} brought down the lands of Zebulun and Naphtali, but afterward He honored the way by the sea, across the Jordan, in Galilee. |
