| 19. Formal Translation O LORD {Yahweh, Strong Deliverer}, my strength, my fortress, and my refuge in the day of trouble—to You the nations will come from the ends of the earth and will say, “Surely our fathers inherited falsehood, vanity, and there is no profit.” |
| 19. Dynamic Translation LORD {Yahweh, Secure Protector}, You are my strength, my stronghold, and my refuge when trouble comes. Peoples from the farthest edges of the earth will come to You and say, “Our ancestors handed down to us only lies—empty things that offer no help.” |
