Exegesis

Two Qal participles, yotzer {יוֹצֵר | yō-ṣēr} ‘forming’ and ve-khoshev {וְחֹשֵׁב | wə-ḥō-šēḇ} ‘planning’, each with the suffixed pronoun aleikhem {עֲלֵיכֶם | ʿă-lê-ḵem} ‘against you’, convey continuous divine action.
