| 29. Formal Translation For behold, in the city that is called by My name, I am beginning to bring evil {hara: calamity, judgment}; and you, shall you by any means be acquitted? You shall not be acquitted, for I am calling the sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, declares the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tzvaot, Divine Warrior}. |
| 29. Dynamic Translation Look, I am starting to bring disaster to the city that is named after Me, and do you really think you will go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, because I am summoning a sword against everyone who lives on the earth, says the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tzvaot, Ruler of Armies}. |
