29. Formal Translation
At the sound of the horseman and the archer, every city flees; they have entered the thickets and climbed among the rocks; every city is forsaken, and there is no one dwelling in them—not a man.
29. Dynamic Translation
When the sound of horsemen and archers comes, every town runs away. People hide in the thick bushes and climb onto the rocks. All the towns are deserted; no one lives there—not a single person.
