28. Formal Translation They have grown fat and become sleek; indeed, they have gone beyond in matters of evil. They did not judge the case of the fatherless, that it might prosper; and they did not decide the rights of the needy. |
28. Dynamic Translation They have become fat and polished, and they have even gone beyond in committing evil deeds. They do not administer justice: they do not uphold the orphan’s case so that it succeeds, and they do not defend the rights of the poor. |
