3. Formal Translation
And the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Evaluator} said to the Adversary, “Have you paid attention to My servant Job? There is no one like him on the earth—a blameless and upright man who fears God {Elohim, Moral Judge} and turns away from evil. Even now he holds fast to his integrity, though you provoked Me against him to ruin him without cause.”
3. Dynamic Translation
Then the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge} said to Satan, “Have you taken notice of My servant Job? On the whole earth there is no one like him—honest and upright, fearing God {Elohim, Revered Ruler} and shunning evil. He still clings to his integrity, even though you stirred Me up to destroy him for no reason.”
