39. Formal Translation And he captured Debir and its king and all its cities, and they struck them down by the edge of the sword, and devoted to destruction every soul that was in it; he left no survivor. Just as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir and to its king, and just as he had done to Libnah and to its king. |
