| 25. Formal Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Boundary Setter} has set the Jordan as a boundary between us and you, sons of Reuben and sons of Gad. You have no share in the LORD, and your sons will make our sons cease to fear the LORD. |
| 25. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Protector} has made the Jordan River the line between us and you, you Reubenites and Gadites. You have no portion in the LORD, so your children will keep our children from fearing the LORD. |
