Joshua 4:3:1וְצַוּ֣וּvetsavooand command

3. Formal Translation
Give them this order: “From here, out of the middle of the Jordan, from the spot where the priests’ feet stood firm, take twelve stones; carry them with you, and place them at the lodging place where you will lodge tonight.”
3. Dynamic Translation
Instruct them, “Lift twelve stones from the exact place where the priests are standing in the middle of the Jordan River, bring them along, and set them down at the campsite where you will stay tonight.”
