33. Formal Translation And he struck them down from Aroer as far as the entrance to Minnith, twenty cities, and as far as Abel Keramim, delivering a very great blow; and the sons of Ammon were subdued before the sons of Israel. |
33. Dynamic Translation He defeated them from Aroer all the way to Minnith—twenty towns—and on to Abel Keramim, inflicting a decisive blow. The Ammonites were humbled before the Israelites. |
