   and he said to them Samson let me now propose to you a riddle if telling you tell it to me seven {of} days of the feast and you find {it} out then I will give to you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothes

The verse opens with the vav-consecutive verb vayomer {וַיֹּ֤אמֶר | va-yō-mer} introducing direct speech.
