The causative hetsikathu {הֱצִיקַ֔תְהוּ | hĕ-ṣî-qat-tə-hû} ‘she distressed him’ conveys her agency, while vayagged-lah {וַיַּגֶּד־לָהּ | way-yag-gēd-lāh} ‘and he told her’ and vatagged {וַתַּגֵּ֥ד | wat-tag-gēḏ} ‘and she told’ advance the action, with livnei ammah {לִבְנֵי עַמָּהּ | li-vnē ʿam-māh} ‘to the sons of her people’ specifying the recipients. English maintains Hebrew clause order and temporal markers to reflect causation and emphasis.
