Exegesis

The vav-consecutive wayyāsûrû {וַיָּס֣וּרוּ | wayyāsûrû} ‘and they turned aside’ leads into wayyō’merû {וַיֹּאמְרוּ | wayyō’merû} ‘and they said,’ introducing a threefold interrogation via mî-hĕvî’ăkâ {מִֽי־הֱבִיאֲךָ | mî-hĕvî’ăkâ} ‘who has brought you,’ û-mâh-’attâh {וּמָה־אַתָּה | û-mâh-’attâh} ‘and what you are doing,’ and û-mâh-ləḵâ {וּמַה־לְּךָ | û-mâh-ləḵâ} ‘and what is to you.’

In contextJudges 18:3
