1. Formal Translation And Jerub-Baal—that is, Gideon—rose early with all who were with him, and they made camp by the spring of Harod; the camp of Midian was on their north side, near the hill of Moreh, in the valley. |
1. Dynamic Translation At daybreak Jerub-Baal—that is, Gideon—and his men camped beside the spring of Harod. The Midianite camp lay north of them, near the hill called Moreh, down in the valley. |
