16. Formal Translation
Over these things I weep; my eye—my eye—pours out water, for a comforter who restores my soul is far from me. My children have become desolate, because the enemy has prevailed.
16. Dynamic Translation
For all these things I weep. My eyes overflow with tears, for no one is near to revive me. My children lie in desolation, for the enemy has overpowered me.
