15. Formal Translation All who pass along the road clap their hands at you; they hiss and shake their heads at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, “Is this the city called the perfection of beauty, the joy of all the earth?” |
15. Dynamic Translation Everyone passing on the road claps at you. They whistle and wag their heads at Jerusalem’s daughter, asking, “Is this really the city people praised as perfect in beauty, the delight of the whole earth?” |
