20. Formal Translation Look, O LORD {Yahweh, Supreme Judge}, and consider. To whom have You done this? Should women eat their fruit, the children of tender care? Should priest and prophet be killed in the sanctuary of the Lord {Adonai, Sovereign Master}? |
20. Dynamic Translation See, LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Arbiter}, and take notice: whom have You treated like this? Should mothers eat their own children, the little ones they lovingly cared for? Should priests and prophets be struck down in the Lord’s {Adonai, Ultimate Authority} holy place? |
