5. Formal Translation
Those who ate delicacies have become desolate in the streets; those who were nurtured on scarlet have embraced ash heaps.
5. Dynamic Translation
Those who once feasted in luxury now roam the streets in ruin; those raised on scarlet cling to the garbage piles.
