16. Formal Translation Then those who feared the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Observer} spoke with one another, each one with his friend. The LORD listened attentively and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and for those who esteem His name. |
16. Dynamic Translation At that time those who honored the LORD {Yahweh, Attentive Listener} talked together, person to person. The LORD took notice and heard them, and a record book was written in His presence for those who honor the LORD and think about His name. |
