27. Formal Translation And you gave them into the hand of their enemies, and they oppressed them. And at the time of their distress they cried out to you, and you heard from heaven, and according to your many mercies you gave them deliverers, who saved them from the hand of their enemies. |
27. Dynamic Translation So you handed them over to their enemies, who oppressed them. Yet whenever they were in distress they cried out to you, and you heard from heaven. And out of your great mercy you gave them rescuers who brought them out from the hand of their enemies. |
