35. Formal Translation But they, in their kingdom and in your great goodness, which you gave them, and in the broad and fertile land which you set before them, did not serve you {Yahweh, Sovereign Ruler}, nor did they turn from their evil deeds. |
35. Dynamic Translation Even while they ruled their own land and enjoyed your great kindness, and the spacious, fruitful country you put before them, they did not serve you {Yahweh, Rightful King} or cease their evil actions. |
