Proverbs 14:16:2יָ֭רֵאyarefears or is afraid Proverbs 14:16:3וְסָ֣רvesarand turns aside Proverbs 14:16:4מֵרָ֑עmerafrom evil Proverbs 14:16:5וּ֝כְסִ֗ילukhesilbut a fool Proverbs 14:16:6מִתְעַבֵּ֥רmiteabberis raging or becoming furious Proverbs 14:16:7וּבוֹטֵֽחַ׃uvoteakhand is trusting or confident
16. Formal Translation
A wise person fears and turns away from evil, but the fool boils over and is confident.
16. Dynamic Translation
A wise person is cautious and avoids evil, but a fool loses his temper and feels secure.
