| 12. Formal Translation If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not He {Yahweh, Sovereign Judge} who weighs hearts understand? And He who guards your soul—does He not know? And will He not repay each person according to his work? |
| 12. Dynamic Translation If you protest, “Look, we did not realize this,” will not the One {Yahweh, Omniscient Witness} who examines every heart perceive it? The One who guards your life—does He not see? He will repay everyone according to what they have done. |
