The qualitative relative pronoun hoitines {οἵτινες | hoí-ti-nes} introduces a further relative clause that characterizes these kings as those who have not yet obtained rule: the object basileian {βασιλείαν | ba-si-leí-an} ‘kingdom’ with the temporal negative adverb oupō {οὔπω | oû-pō} and the aorist verb elabon {ἔλαβον | é-la-bon} ‘they received’ presents a past-to-present state of having received no realm.
