A further kai introduces the climactic genitive construction pantōn tōn esphagmenōn epi tēs gēs {πάντων τῶν ἐσφαγμένων ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς | pán-tōn tōn es-phag-mé-nōn e-pì tês gês} ‘of all those who have been slain upon the earth’, extending the indictment from particular martyrs to all victims of bloodshed.
