17. Formal Translation Let none of you scheme harm against a neighbor in your hearts, nor embrace a deceptive vow; for all these I detest, declares the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge}. |
17. Dynamic Translation Do not plot evil against a neighbor in your hearts, and do not hold dear any false promise. I hate all these things, says the LORD {Yahweh, Moral Authority}. |
