The Biblical Account of Easter

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is one of the most important events in the Bible. It is often related to the Easter celebration as it is a reminder of how God’s love, grace, and hope is expressed through Jesus’ sacrifice. Through His resurrection, Jesus triumphed over death, providing salvation to all who believe. This triumph of love, grace, and hope is celebrated each year during the Easter holiday.

On Calvary, Jesus was crucified for our sins and gave up his life to save us. He sacrificed himself out of love, to offer us a chance at redemption and receive forgiveness. Through his ultimate act of selflessness, Jesus became our Savior and provided us with eternal atonement.

Easter is a joyous and holy holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. But before we can get to His resurrection, we must look at the events leading up to it, including the Triumphal Entry, Jesus’ arrest, and His trial. On the Sunday before His crucifixion, Jesus made His Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem. This triumphant moment was certainly momentous, unforgettable, and powerful. Jesus was greeted with rejoicing and love, as people waved palms and greeted Him with praises. This joyous event would eventually lead to the arrest and eventual trial of Jesus, events that were crucial and fateful for mankind
