27. Formal Translation Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord {Kyrios, Supreme Authority} in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. |
27. Dynamic Translation So then, anyone who eats this bread or drinks from the Lord’s {Kyrios, Worshiped Master} cup in an unworthy way will be accountable regarding the body and blood of the Lord. |
