17. Formal Translation If anyone destroys the temple of God {Theos, Guardian of Holiness}, God will bring destruction upon that person; for the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple. |
17. Dynamic Translation If someone harms the temple of God, God {Theos, Defender of His People} will bring that person to ruin, because the temple of God is sacred, and you are that temple. |
