5. Formal Translation Therefore do not judge anything ahead of the appointed time, but wait until the Lord {Kyrios, Righteous Judge} comes. He will bring into the light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the purposes of the hearts; then praise will come to each one from God {Theos, Giver Of Praise}. |
5. Dynamic Translation So refrain from passing judgment prematurely; wait until the Lord {Kyrios, Coming Judge} arrives. He will shine light on the secret things hidden in darkness and show what the hearts were planning. Then everyone will receive praise from God {Theos, True Approver}. |
