6. Formal Translation
But these things, brothers, I have applied to myself and Apollos for your sake, so that in us you may learn the rule not to go beyond what is written, so that none of you may be puffed up for one against another.
6. Dynamic Translation
Brothers, for your benefit I have used myself and Apollos as examples, so that you learn from us not to push past what the Scriptures say, and so that no one among you becomes arrogant for one person over another.
