13. Formal Translation Consequently, if any food should cause my brother to stumble, I will certainly refrain from eating meat for all time, so that I do not cause my brother to stumble. |
13. Dynamic Translation So if any food threatens to trip up my brother, I will choose to give up meat forever, in order not to make him fall. |
