47. Formal Translation And also the servants of the king came to bless our lord the king David, saying, “May your God make the name of Solomon better than your name, and may He make his throne greater than yours.” And the king bowed down upon the bed. |
47. Dynamic Translation Furthermore, the royal attendants came to congratulate our lord King David, saying, “May your God help make Solomon’s reputation greater than yours and his throne surpass yours.” Then the king bowed down on his bed. |
