1 Kings 1:48:2אָמַ֣רamarhe said 1 Kings 1:48:3הַמֶּ֑לֶךְhamelekhthe king 1 Kings 1:48:4בָּר֨וּךְbarukhblessed 1 Kings 1:48:5יְהוָ֜הyahwehLORD 1 Kings 1:48:6אֱלֹהֵ֣יeloheiGod of 1 Kings 1:48:7יִשְׂרָאֵ֗לyisreaelIsrael 1 Kings 1:48:8אֲשֶׁ֨רasherwho 1 Kings 1:48:9נָתַ֥ןnatanhas given 1 Kings 1:48:10הַיּ֛וֹםhayomtoday 1 Kings 1:48:11יֹשֵׁ֥בyoshevone sitting 1 Kings 1:48:12עַל־כִּסְאִ֖יalkision my throne 1 Kings 1:48:13וְעֵינַ֥יveeinaiand my eyes 1 Kings 1:48:14רֹאֽוֹת׃rootseeing
48. Formal Translation
And moreover, the king said, “Blessed be the LORD {Yahweh, Promise Fulfiller}, the God of Israel {Elohei Yisrael, National Protector}, who has given today one to sit on my throne, and my eyes see it.”
48. Dynamic Translation
The king also declared, “Praise the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Provider}, the God of Israel {Elohei Yisrael, People's Defender}, who today has appointed a successor on my throne, and I have lived to see it.”
