29. Formal Translation A chariot came up and went out of Egypt for six hundred pieces of silver, and a horse for one hundred fifty; and in the same way for all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Aram—they brought them out by their own hand. |
29. Dynamic Translation The king procured a chariot from Egypt for six hundred silver pieces and a horse for one hundred fifty; in the same way, through the king’s traders, they were exported to all the kings of the Hittites and of Aram. |
