11. Formal Translation Now there was a certain old prophet sitting in Bethel, and his sons came and recounted to him all that the man of God had done that day in Bethel, including the words that he had spoken to the king. Then they reported it all to their father. |
11. Dynamic Translation There was an elderly prophet living in Bethel. His sons came and told him everything the man of God had done that day in Bethel and all that he had said to the king. Then they shared the full report with their father. |
