| 27. Formal Translation And King Rehoboam made bronze shields in their place and appointed them under the authority of the officers of the runners, the guards at the entrance of the king’s house. |
| 27. Dynamic Translation So King Rehoboam made bronze shields to replace the originals and assigned them to the commanders of the palace guards stationed at the entrance to the royal palace. |
