| 20. Formal Translation Ben-Hadad {ben-haddad: Son of Hadad, Aramean King} listened to King Asa and sent his commanders against the cities of Israel; they struck Iyon, Dan, Abel Beth-Maacah, and all Kinnereth, throughout the land of Naphtali. |
| 20. Dynamic Translation Ben-Hadad accepted Asa’s request and sent commanders to attack the towns of Israel, overrunning Iyon, Dan, Abel Beth-Maacah, and the entire Kinnereth region across Naphtali. |
