| 29. Formal Translation As soon as he began to reign, he struck down all the house of Jeroboam; he left Jeroboam no one who breathed until he had destroyed it according to the word of the LORD {Yahweh, Promise Fulfiller} spoken by the hand of His servant Ahijah the Shilonite. |
| 29. Dynamic Translation When Baasha began to reign, he wiped out the entire household of Jeroboam, sparing no living person, fulfilling what the LORD {Yahweh, Word Keeper} had declared through His servant Ahijah the Shilonite. |
