| 30. Formal Translation Because of the sins of Jeroboam that he committed and that he caused Israel to commit, and because of the provocation with which he provoked the LORD God {Yahweh Elohei Yisraʾel, Just Judge}. |
| 30. Dynamic Translation This happened because of Jeroboam’s sins—both what he did and what he led Israel to do—and because of the provocation that stirred up the LORD God {Yahweh Elohei Yisraʾel, Divine Judge}. |
