| 21. Formal Translation And Elijah drew near to all the people and said, “How long will you continue limping on two branches? If the LORD God {Yahweh Elohim, Sovereign Ruler} is God, follow Him; but if Baal is god, then follow Him.” Yet the people gave him no reply. |
| 21. Dynamic Translation Then Elijah came near everyone and asked, “How long will you hesitate between two alternatives? If the LORD God {Yahweh Elohim, Divine Judge} is God, then follow Him; but if Baal is god, then follow Him.” The people remained silent. |
