וַֽיִּקְרְאוּ֙{va-yik-re-U###vah-yik-re-OO###and they called out} בְּק֣וֹל{be-KOL###beh-KOHL###with a voice} גָּד֔וֹל{ga-DOL###gaa-DOHL###great} וַיִּתְגֹּֽדְדוּ֙{va-yit-go-de-DU###vah-yit-goh-de-DOO###and they cut themselves} כְּמִשְׁפָּטָ֔ם{ke-mish-pa-TAM###keh-mihsh-pah-TAAM###according to their custom} בַּחֲרָב֖וֹת{ba-kha-ra-VOT###bah-khah-raa-VOHT###with the swords} וּבָֽרְמָחִ֑ים{u-var-ma-KHIM###oo-vaar-ma-KHEEM###and with the lances} עַד־שְׁפָךְ־דָּ֖ם{ad-she-FAKH-DAM###ahd-sheh-FAHKH-DAAM###until pouring out of blood} עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃{a-le-HEM###ah-leh-HEHM###upon them}
