The sequence of motion verbs vayyāqām {וַיָּקָם | vayyāqām} ‘and he arose’ and vayyēleḵ {וַיֵּלֶךְ | vayyēleḵ} ‘and he went’ underscores Elisha’s resolve to recommence his journey.
