| 21. Formal Translation So he returned from following him, took a team of oxen, and sacrificed them. With the oxen’s equipment he cooked the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he rose, followed Elijah, and ministered to him. |
| 21. Dynamic Translation Elisha went back, took the pair of oxen, and slaughtered them. He used the oxen’s implements to cook the meat and shared it with the people, and they ate. After that, he set out after Elijah and became his attendant. |
