32. Formal Translation And the LORD {Yahweh, Bloodguilt Judge} will bring back his blood upon his head, because he struck two men—more righteous and better than he—and killed them with the sword, though my father David did not know it: Abner son of Ner, commander of the army of Israel, and Amasa son of Yeter, commander of the army of Judah. |

Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Wrongdoing Repayer} will make his bloodguilt return on his own head, because he struck down two men who were more righteous and better than he and put them to the sword, while my father David was unaware: Abner son of Ner, commander of Israel’s army, and Amasa son of Yeter, commander of Judah’s army. |
