33. Formal Translation And their blood will return upon the head of Joab and upon the head of his descendants forever, but on David and on his descendants, on his house and on his throne, there will be peace forever from the LORD {Yahweh, Judicial Avenger}. |
33. Dynamic Translation May the guilt for their blood rest on Joab and his descendants forever, but for David and his descendants, his household and his throne, may there be peace from the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Keeper} forever. |
