וַיָּבֹא֩{va-BO###vah-BOH###and he came} אַחְאָ֨ב{akh-AV###ahkh-AV###Ahab} אֶל־בֵּית֜וֹ{el-BE-to###ehl-BEE-toh###to his house} סַ֣ר{SAR###SAHR###sullen or resentful} וְזָעֵ֗ף{ve-za-EF###veh-zaa-EHF###and vexed or upset} עַל־הַדָּבָר֙{al-ha-da-VAR###ahl-hah-dah-VAAR###because of the matter} אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֣ר{a-sher-di-BER###ah-shehr-dih-BEHR###which he spoke} אֵלָ֗יו{e-LAV###ee-LAAV###to him} נָבוֹת֙{na-VOT###naa-VOHT###Naboth} הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִ֔י{ha-yiz-re-e-LI###hah-yihz-reh-ee-LEE###the Jezreelite} וַיֹּ֕אמֶר{va-YO-mer###vah-YOH-mehr###and he said} לֹֽא־אֶתֵּ֥ן{lo-e-TEN###loh-eh-TEEN###I will not give} לְךָ֖{le-KHA###leh-KHAA###to you} אֶת־נַחֲלַ֣ת{et-na-kha-LAT###eht-nah-khah-LAHT###the inheritance of} אֲבוֹתָ֑י{a-vo-TAI###ah-voh-TAAI###my fathers} וַיִּשְׁכַּב֙{va-yish-KAV###vah-yihsh-KAAV###and he lay down} עַל־מִטָּת֔וֹ{al-mi-TA-to###ahl-mih-TAH-toh###on his bed} וַיַּסֵּ֥ב{va-ya-SEV###vah-yah-SEEV###and he turned} אֶת־פָּנָ֖יו{et-pa-NAV###eht-paa-NAAV###his face} וְלֹֽא־אָ֥כַל{ve-lo-A-khal###veh-loh-AA-khahl###and he did not eat} לָֽחֶם׃{LA-khem###LAA-khehm###bread}
