Exegesis

The construct vekhol-tseva ha-shamayim {וְכָל־צְבָא הַשָּׁמַיִם | wə·ḵāl-ṣə·ḇāʾ haš·šā·mā·yim} ‘all the host of the heavens’ forms a cosmic assembly, and the participle omed {עֹמֵד | ʿō·mē·ḏ} ‘standing’ with miyimino u-mismolo {מִימִינוֹ וּמִשְּׂמֹאלוֹ | mî·y·mīn·ō wə·mīš·mō·ʿā·lō} ‘on His right and on His left’ evokes royal court imagery. English SVO order preserves emphasis and participial force while rendering Hebrew prepositional nuances.
