7. Formal Translation
So that the proven worth of your faith—more valuable than perishing gold, even though gold is refined by fire—may be found to bring praise, glory, and honor at the unveiling of Jesus Christ {Iesous Christos, Returning Messiah}.
7. Dynamic Translation
These trials prove your faith genuine; and that faith is worth more than gold, which still passes away even after it is refined in fire. In the end, it will result in praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ {Iesous Christos, Revealed Savior} is revealed.
